Elderly Woman Found Dead on Her Brooklyn Rooftop
An 84-year-old woman was found dead on the rooftop of her apartment building in the heavily Hasidic neighborhood of Borough Park, Brooklyn, on Monday morning.
She was discovered on the roof of 5118 14th Avenue around 10:30 a.m., according to the NYPD.
"She was found on the roof laying face up, on her back," says a police spokesperson.
The NYPD has since identified the woman as 84-year-old building occupant Sarah Behar.
Behar's family has been notified and her death has been determined "non-suspicious," according to police.
