New issur on sheitlech
As per a p'sak released recently by HaRav Eliyashev and by some Rabbonim today, sheitlech are now usser 'min Ha'Torah'. The p'sak claims that the hair used for sheitlech is imported from India where Buddhists worship the human hair and is therefore considered to be an 'avodah zorah'. Boy, and all this time I thought human-hair sheitlech were usser anyway 'cause of tznius.
