Two drunks and a dog evicted from empty apartment building
After hours of waiting and coaxing Police finally removed two drunks and their dog from an empty apartment building on 54th street between 12th and New Utrecht avenues. Approximately ten Police cruisers and about five more unmarked cars were there, besides an ambulance, two ESU trucks and the big Police command center. The building owned by Mr. Freund of the Freund's Fish Store, formerly on 13th av. had been emptied to build condominiums to sell. After the illegal inhabitants refusing to leave, Police were called and they were forcibly ejected.
