Naftoli Spiegel gets beaten up in Boro-Park
As Munkatcher Rebbe was walking on the street Shabbos with his Chassidim in tow, he had passed by Naftoli Spiegel. Naftoli shouted at the Rebbe, "Mchalelehu mois yimos". The Rebbe turned to him and said "Di Tzedoiky!". After the Rebbe had passed by, some of the Chassidim turned around and went after Naftoli. They grabbed his spudik and glasses, beat the daylights out of him and then took off. I guess this time Naftoli Spiegel picked on the wrong guys.

While what he did was wrong, and he probably got what he deserved, is it really right to beat him up. He is a real nebech and people should just pitty him.

so did the munkatcher saction the beating? shouldn't the rebbe been more of a grown up and just ignored the moron? and did the rebbe try to stop the beating?

i think spiegle saw the famous video clip of the minchas elozer geshrieing about shabbos in america so he was making latzuno to the new rebbe. anyone who want's the clip e mailed to them should send request to kohane37@yahoo.com.

Naftoli Spiegel is a nephew of Rabbi Bick and the son-in law of the Rabbi Friedman, the Tenke Rebbe.
He is a know anti-eruv activist. In the past it was rumored that he engaged in destroying the eruv. He is also know to scream at anyone carrying in Boro Park.

Firstly, he did not get beaten that badly, although maybe he should have, he likes the attention, he likes contraversy, and that's why he junped at the idea of picking a fight with the munkache'r rav.

This is exactly why I left the chassidish community in boro park. I have come to realize that you chassidim are violent, perverted, crooked, hypocritical criminals. All you do is fight , steal and become a bunch of leeches and bloodsuckers who contribute nothing to society.
