I wish that even half of the energy in the frum community that is expended angrilly denouncing things like "mixed dancing" somewhere or the alleged lack of tznius (and somehow, they say, our communal tragedies are ALWAYS because women aren't tznius enough -- its NEVER because of the dirty men who go outside the holy compact of marriage to selfishly fulfill their supposed "needs"!) was spent denouncing gay perverts -- some of them alleged "rabbis" who diddle innocent little boys in mikvas or in yeshivas and then it's covered up by other "rabbis" (and without naming any names, YOU ALL KNOW what specific very well-publicized case I'm referring to) and even by supposed "gedolim" who claim that such claims are unproven without witnesses (very few perverts are stupid enough to do what they do with witnesses watching) or "penetration," and who say talking about it in the media is loshan hara and chillul Hashem and reporting such sick behavior to the "goyishe" authorities is "mesira". Some of those who do the covering up are get big kovod and are hailed as pillars of Torah, for years, or even decades, like L.M., and everyone is worried about HIS honor and reputation, and to hell with the victimized kids who are scarred for life. Now THAT'S a chillul Hashem more worth worrying about than supposed "mixed dancing" at some establishment.
