Board 12 blocks Boro-Park Lag B'Omer parade

Community board 12 is attempting to block Boro-Park from going along with their plans for their Lag B'Omer parade. Board 12, who is responsible for granting community permits in Boro-Park, is denying to issue a permit to shut down the street in order for the parade to take place. The board has so far not come up with any justifiable reason for not granting the permit which has never been an issue in the years before. The single person who is reportedly responsible for spearheading this permit block is District Manager Wolf Sender. He has reportedly told community leaders that he has no interest in granting the permit since he will get no personal or political gain from it. Councilman Simcha Felder has reportedly been contacted to intervene on behalf of the community to ascertain the permit.

Comments:
Sorry, Charlie. Board 12 is for Boro Park. Though this type of misinformation poses the important role of highlighting that often you post think that are far from accurate.

Nice that you changed your post so the previous comment looks stupid. And Wolf Sender isn't a board member, nor is he one of the Chairmen. He's the District Manager.

He has far more sense than to say what you claim he did. But your hatred for anyone who doesn't kowtow to Chabad is so blind and passionate that teh facts make no difference....

This is probably another one of Chabad's games to make them into the unfortunate and persecuted. "All they wish is to give the young Yiddishe kinderlach (Tzivos Hashem) a gran good time on the great day of Lag B'Omer, but for some unknow reason other Yidden block thir path, out of pure hatred to Chabad"
I hope that the readers do not fall for this game of theirs.

Interesting how you sit and imagine games, Mr. Solomon. You obviously have never had a pure intention in your life. Well, some people do things without ulterior motives, get used to that.

What street do you want closed off? Ok, can someone tell me the real story? This sounds too weird to be a chabad thing. Every time someone can not get something approved they yell foul. Come on, can someone give the true story. If Simcha Felder is intervening, maybe he knows what is going on?

Will the truth please stand up?

There used to be a Purim parade in Boro Park, but then it was stopped. People said it messed up traffic.

So why is there now a need for a new parade ?

The lag baomer parade is not a BP thing, it's Lubavitchers from Crown Heights, trying to spread their missionary activity into BP. They are also doing that with the Simchas beis hashoyeivah on Sukkos, a copy of the CH one, that they recently exported to BP.

Let them have it in Crown Heights.

Why did they give them a permit to block 13th avenue for a few nights running for the simchas beis hashoeivah ? At least lag baoimer is only one day.

What's next ? Are they going to ask for a parade on the late Rebbe's birthday in BP too ?

Send the parades back to CH.

If Simcha Felder wanted there to be a parade, there would be a parade. He controls most of the community board members.
