THEY ARE MAKING INTERNATIONAL DEMONSTRATIONS THIS THURSDAY!


Bnai Elim is making rallies through out the U.S. and in Jerusalem on the same day and at the same time, February 8th, 2007 6:00PM EST. The rules are simple, bring along no weapons, drugs or alcohol. When you arrive at the location; all you have to do is lie down or sit in the street. Those who don′t feel comfortable may stand, but it will have less effect. Wear old clotheing so they won′t get ruined, and make sure you are warmly dressed. We have hope and faith that we will attract the media′s attention and that the Preisdent will be well aware of our position. Reserve the date, rain or shine.

it is about time!

Mr Pollard did a service for our country just as spies have been doing for thousands of years for every nation the only problem was that he got cought and his country deserted him! he is serving a sentence that was/is unheard of for a crime that hurt no one! if the skvere rabbi got parole for his chassidim who commited a crime against the goverment so must we send a delegation to get the release of Pollard immediatly now!

 

They just woke up, in an effort to once again gain the good graces of the people! Aha! but did they convene that meeting and come to that resolution to deal with the abominable treatment to some our young boys by abominable rabbeim? This might be just a political detour.

 

Why is the Agudah in favor of this pardon, and has "never" lifted a finger to assist or request govermental clemency or favors for any other Yid, {Shomer Torah U'Mitzvos) who did not commit treason, or put Klal Yisroel in a terrible light in the eyes of the goverment.
There must be some tremendous financial gain in store for them, or simply they have decided to be part of the Right wing Zionist-Modern orthodox crowd so they could make money from the wealthy Modern Orthodox jews, The Patron Saints of Art Scroll, etc.

To equate the so called crimes of the people of Skver to the crime of Pollard.
You must either hate Skver or Chassidim or you must love the Young Israel/Agudah coalition

 

I'm surprised at the lack of good sense that most people have. Logic would suggest that the only reason the American Gov't would go through such inconvenience to hold on to Pollard, who without any doubt is a "dated" prisoner (from memory he's been in the can for over twenty years) would be because they are humoring the Israeli Gov't. Face it - Pollard is a probably to much a piece of ancient history for his release to be considered a threat to America's interests - But on the other hand it is very easy to perceive the unwillingness of the Israeli Govm't to have a hard-line right wing Folk HERO on their hands, when they could have him rot in jail with all the flak being aimed at someone else.

We should protest in Israel.
