Non-Kosher food sold at ice cream store on 13th Avenue and 46th Street
The ice cream store on 13th Avenue and 46th Street has changed ownership and appearance, and according to sources, kosher food practices as well. The store is now, reportedly, owned and operated by long-time bakante dreikup, Menachem Edelstein, who just arrived back from Florida after going incognito for over twenty years. According to sources who have done some investigating into the matter, the ice cream toppings and popcorn that were sold at the store were not kosher. Furthermore, the ice cream that the store carries was being sold as Klein's but in reality was not, it was found to come from J & J. Also, workers at the store were observed mixing up the Pareve utensils with the Milichige ones. The store currently does now carry a Kosher certification, but as always, a store's certification is as good as it's proprietor.

There are more than one person with the name Menachem Edelstein from Florida - please do not put a stain on anyone's name - especially since another person by that name is a great tzaddakah donor. Thank you!

All 3 Ice Cream stores are so spread out over BP, do they really think that people that live near one, will go out of their way to a totally different neighborhood bec. of an unverified Chaptzem news item???????????????????

to all out there listen up....
i personelly know the boss of this ice cream store. it is not menache adelstein. it is the same owner from the last 18 years, wich we all know with his famus slogan from the heiliga tzamach tzadik always said "TRACHT GUT VET ZEIN GUT"
wich we all customers know as a big BAL BITUCHEN HE IS, now to the point of facts;;;;
1) menache eidelstein was never a boss of this store.
2) the place is under of one of the strictly'ist hechsher bedoriny wich is HARAV BABAD SHLITA, his phone # is 718 951 0952 if any one has any questiones can call him up.
3) the place is being chked up by the ruv and his mashgiah almost every second day.wich as i am a daily customer of this store i see it with my eyes,
4)lets not forget that for the last year was opened a few competions in boro park,
wich forced him to remodel his store, wich in fact came out to be as the MOST BEUTIFUL STORE IN BROOKLYN NY, so this mite take his competions down a little V"DL...
5)anyone responseble for this open lye is USID LITEN ES HADIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
