Why didn't Satmar think of this?
A new system has just been installed in 770 informing if there is a Choson in shul, so you would know if you have to say Tachnun or not.
If you are a Choson during sheva brochos, you are kindly asked to walk up to the umud and choose the amount of time you will be in 770 and the light will remain on till you leave. In an event that you leave earlier you can go and shut it off.

If you are on a rush and don't have time to say Tachnun just run up and turn on the light and your minyon will skip it.

you dont need this system in williamsburg or boro park beouse a chossen has a shtreimel!!!!!

did you wear your shtreimel during shachris? you don't need it in williamsburg because they never say tachnun anyway.

In Lubavitch they were a kapote so its not so hard either its just that 770 is very large and there are minyanim all over the place so this is a awesome idea

They have had such a light in Lakewood for years, it's controlled by the Gabbai.

Williamsburg does say Tachnun. you see a Shtreimel hanging on the wall or on a table you know there is a choson or bris for that matter, a kapote is under the talis so you need that light.

In Satmar shul on Rodney in Williamsburg, there is actually such a thing for many years already, it's 2 lights on the Oron Kodesh, that is on whenever there is a bris in shul.

just to point out that there are poskim who hold a choson should daven at home, so that the minyan shouldn't have to miss out on saying tachnun.
