Construction of a residential tower in Boro-Park
A person builds his house up an additional three floors over the existing two floors, which are standard for the homes in that area, at 53rd Street and 12th Avenue.

Its not the owner that's to blame its the zoning that allows it that is the problem.
Recently the zoning was changed to allow Maimonides to build, and so a few block radius got the same rules.
They can now go up to 5 stories but you need clearance in the back. If you look at this house, the rear extension is quite a few feet narrower than the rest of the house.

Well I think: all those board people, who don’t have anything better to do with there, time, but rather say,” The open violation of Buildings and Zoning chokes off the light and air in our community!” I say GET A LIFE!! Bug off & Mind your own business
