Simcha Felder trash cans not working out too well
The new trash cans with the smaller hole on top, sponsored by Councilman Simcha Felder, seem to be doing a very bad job of keeping Boro-Park streets clean. The smaller mouth obviously does nothing to deter dumpers, but rather makes a nice big ol' mess for everyone else. I guess it's true what they say about the similarities between politicians and trash cans; they both need to be changed often and they're both full of it.

We have the same style of cans in Manhattan, but they are sponsored by Scott Stringer, the boro president. Can someone explain to me the allure of dumping household trash in the public street garbage cans? What do people gain by doing this?
get off the internet you glump if you realy cared about your community you would make sure that the city emptys them so dont go complaining
I jusr read and re-read the article 3 times and still cant figure out what simcha Felder did wrong here. Can someone please explain this to me???
Isn't the problem caused by the people in Boro Park using them for purposes other than was intended? They are not meant to take household trash or commercial refuse.
I saw the the garbage trucks emptying out the cans along 13th Avenue in middle the night and my friend told me that they do it 2 times in middle the day.
Looks like people have alot of trash in their house that they keep on filling up these cans.
