Interesting that they chose that store and not a store like Dicci to depict the change in the neighborhood. Maybe it's better that way.

Who cares if it's Yiddish enough to post he picture? People post whatever they want even if it doesn't have any reason!

The gov't should make a rule signs only in english.

If the NY Times drives up to 8th Avenue, the signs are all in Chinese, and the English ones have the Chinese too, but plenty of them are exclusively Chinese.
Same for any ethnic area in this diverse city.

You of course never ever make a mistake in typing. Just put a space between the a and the e in aeglish, and there is no cause for your comment. If everyone treated you with as little "l'kaf zechus" as you treat others, I am sure you would stop commenting on what others have to say

 

i have no problem with signs in any language, if it is in a partcular area. whether its chinese in chinatown, italian in little italy, or yiddish in boro park.

what i DO have a problem with, is a sign in spanish on the New Jersey Turnpike

I guess satire goes over your head. We are not talking about typographical errors.

The level of English used on this blog has lately been descending to a fourth grade level.

Even in attempting to criticize my post, you ask that I consider the lack of a space which would make the original post read "a English speaking country."

If you do not understand the error in grammar here, I'm afraid there is nothing I can do to help you.
