New Square Hatzalah - Women's Division
Comments:
Wow, Chaptzem, you've done it again! You raised the bar and then surpassed it! Got the best laugh in days!
You all are super nuts. This is a beautiful thing, and you besmirch it. It is only in the case of a woman going into labor. What would you rather have if you were going into labor?
when a woman is in heavy labor, all she wants is to get that baby out. she doesnt care if its a male or female helping her out!
how many women use male mds?
how many women use male mds?
Whoever came up with this idea forsure has his mind in the gutter. How many years id hatzoloh in existance? did the rebbe of satmar belz or lubavich have any problems with all males hatzoloh , obviously not . Whats this world coming too??
This is ridiculious. Hatzolah is to save lives, pikuach nefesh, period. At 2 am, are they going to wake up young mothers bec. a woman needs immediate medical attention?
And then wait until they get their shaitels, tichels, hair piece, bulletproof stockings on to attend to the person? What if a woman is out cold on the ground? How are they going to bend down in their dresses and whatever else they wear? This is religion gone wild

They aren't the first community to think of woman taking care of woman in labor. It is one thing a male dr that you see only when you go to his office but your frum neighbor is another story.
As for how long it takes a woman to get ready, when my husband was in Hatzalah, he was ready in 2 seconds even though it usually took him over 1/2 hour to get ready for shul in the morning.
Go New Square!

It's obvious that many of the posters here think this picture is real.
There is no such ambulance in existence.
New Square, at the request of some women, decided to train some females in emergency OBGYN so the women could feel comfortable when they are going through the pains of labor.
As per a Village H member, the males are not forbidden to respond to such calls.
I see nothing wrong in trying to make people feel better.
The sad part is that some fellow Yidden on this blog could come out with such venomous hatred toward their fellow brothers and sisters who actually mean well.
