Shooting in crown Heights

At about 10:00pm, there was a shooting on empire and Brooklyn in the heart of the Crown Heights Jewish community. Before the shooting there was a fight between two groups of African Americans and then seven shots were fired. One black male is in critical condition. Police are still searching the area for clues.
The shooting took place in the doorway of a building where many Jews live. Jewish Witnesses say they saw the shooters run up Brooklyn towards eastern parkway. its important to note , that this is the first major crime since Kelly's visit to Crown Heights.
Two police officers were standing half a block from the shooting but waited for back up before approaching the crime scene. The Summer is here and this is only the beginning.
