Yiddishe No Parking Hayoim sign

Comments:
Where was this sign posted?

WOW!!

I have never seen such a POLITE no parking sign.

Kol Hakovod to Skulen

This has to be a joke. How
could the NYPD issue a sign
in Yiddish and not English.
This is why non Jews have
negative feeling toward Jewish
people.
There would never have an
Italian sign without English
translation for non Italians
for example.

What a fraud! "By order of the NYPD." Sure.

CHUTZPAH !!!

There is plenty of English, Top and Bottom.
But, this is a neighborhood where everyone speaks and reads Yiddish.

The Yiddish part is Ultra Polite.
The English Part follows legal guidlines. But in this neighborhood, the English part will not be read.

The local precinct could authorize it just be giving permission. It meets the law, by having all pertinent info in English, thoug it is not really needed there.

Why are we being critical of a NICE and FRIENDLY No Parking sign?

אפשר גם בעברית?

If you car gets towed for such a reason you get towed by the NYPD
and you are not chrged !!!

This happened to me once in BP.
I think it was by the Bobover rebbas levaya.

I called the precint, gave them my plate # and they told me where my car was.

They moved my car a few blocks away.

How stupid are you?

". . .this is a neighborhood where everyone speaks and reads Yiddish."

Dream on.

" But in this neighborhood, the English part will not be read."

Now you've hit on something. Which No Parking sign is ever read in Borough Park? For that matter, which parking law is ever followed?

Is the reason so many driveways are illegally blocked because the Vehicle and Traffic Law is written in English? Would that also be true for double parking and blocking bus stops?
