Gypsy men collecting in Boro-Park

Comments:
Not surprising if true.

The expression gyp comes from the word gypsy.

I gotted gyped by the gypsies...

How much worse is this than the standard beggars?

How about the organized charities, like that cucumber, or that Israeli chassidic group that disgustingly literally promises that people will be cured of deadly illnesses if only they contribute to it?

its all bull----t dont give any of these charities a cent. As a matterof fact, dont give ANYONE that you dont personally know a cent. most of the people are fakers, and most of the money that they collect, that they claim as tzedoka usually ends up in their pocket. I wouldnt be surprised if only 10-20% of the monies ever reaches the intended victims,or organizations. The beggars(pan handlers) need this excuse that they are collecting for some yeshiva or person or organization, otherwise none will give them any money.Ask one of em that you want to see or call the person or organization that they collecting for and that you want to know the percent of monies that they collect how much of the total goes to the yeshiva, org,or person. Its become a fad(and not an embarassment)to go schnorring, even the little kids do it. I guess WORK is a four letter word. and a dirty one at that.

They're also in Miami Beach on 41 ST
