New Arab Delta ads go up on phone kiosks in heart of Boro-Park

Comments:
before this it was ads from continental airlines in chinese

wow, what a waste in marketing!!

wake up and smell the coffee. this
just shows us who are neighbors
are.

The research and statistics department of Delta found a ‘few’ Arabic speaking people in the heart of Borough-Park to target with advertising. But they forgot that the other 99.9% of the people make their own statistics. Now they know which is the least safe air-line to fly with.

let's see them hang one in hebrew on atlantic ave. but then again it was done to get the neturai karta meshugoim to fly their airline.

Did anybody actualy read and understand the arabic?
As a scholar of classical arabic, permit me to translate:

"In accoradnace with islamic sharia law, all airplanes will have separate entrances for men and women. Additionaly, a fahbull (mechitza) will partition the airplane to enhance the islamic flying experience. Complimentary prayer rugs will be offered to the men and loose-fitting burkas to the women whose modesty is deemed problematical by the pilot."

Hey, isn't eerily similar to the service being demanded by many chareidim?

I never fly Delta to Eretz Yisroel. I hate the rudeness and anti-religious hatred of El Al staff.
I fly Air Jordan and bus over.
I get treated like a mensch and save money.

Oh those crazy Delta marketing people! They probably can't tell the difference between Arabic and Hebrew writing, one foreign looking squiggle looks the same as another to them.

I don't why that anonymous posted that Arabic "translation", but it bears no resemblance to what the ad actually says:

"The best SOMETHING (didn't understand that word) and most friendly.
Like home (the nation).
Direct flights (aerial journeys) to Amman."

Scholar of classical Arabic he is not.
