I don’t know who this guy is, but his statements are offensive, and they are also grossly inaccurate. With few exceptions, the Torah leaders that have sought to separate Judaism from Zionism are not rabidly anti-Israel like this clown. Not one of them has joined up with the Palestinian factions that seek to murder Jews everywhere in the world, who endorse terror against the civilized world, who insist that they have total dominance over land that was never theirs, who believe that the worst forms of barbarism are justified as long as they feel they have a cause. No, it is disgusting to make such claims about gedolei Yisroel. One does not need to believe in Zionism to feel uplifted by davening at the Kosel. One does need to be a Zionist to be mekayem the mitzvah of “hiluch daled amos” in Eretz Yisroel. I consider his statements major chutzpah, and he must rectify the chilul Hashem as well as ask mechila from all those who he tried to malign with his idiotic statements.

 

Excuse me but the writers here don't practice the mitzva of avahas yisroel "v'uhavto l'ray'achu kumoichu". But instaed plain sinas chinom, sinas yisroel and loshon hora etc. Just see in the sefer chofetz chaiem how to write about another jew. Maybe we should al be him "Dan l'kaf zechus" and be mispalel he shoud have the right hashkofos. While at the same time try to improve ourselfs, not to see anything bad on another jew.

 

Mr. Aaron Cohen (his accurate name) is a neighbour of mine and I have known him for almost 40 years. He does not, I believe, have semicha and is called "rabbi" as a result of his having taught for many years at a very good Yeshevah in Hitchen. He is a man who is old, learned and very kind. It is a pity that in his twilight years he has fallen into such an unpleasant and misguided stance of distorting the message of Orthodox anti-Zionist feelings all out of proportion and spewing this dangerous talk amongst goyim. He is not doing any good cause a favour and he has brought shame and abuse onto his very fine family. Please remember, however, that he is a kind and good person of vererable years who has sadly gone astray.
