Typical Rabbi Schorr! What a WACKJOB!

Isn't "l'kan" a grmmatical mistake? Shouldn't it be "just "kan"? Or is correct Hebrew also the sign of someone he wouldn't want?

Bigger issue is, who would go to learn there anyway, after his public displays of poor Jewish behavior?

Yossi G.

rabbi Schour is a very smart man and knows what he is doing

If you consider this idiot smart then u r for sure not smart

It is people like him that r creating so many dropouts in our community's

My son goes there on Shabbos and it scares the living daylights out of me.

PUTZ !!!

what are you people talking about HAROV SCHOR is a very chashuva talmud chacham. and no matter what you think you still have to have kovod hatorah!!!!!!!!

and who are you to bash some one who sits and learns all day?

here we go again!! this shorr clown is a menuval birshus hatorah and is crum and just pathetic!!! there is a reason he has not been able to hold a shtellar more than a few years. his kids also follow in his footsteps hashem yishmor!its keeps getting more ans more ridiculous with this guy.i hope he gets run out of town. we should send him to afghanistan to be with the taliban he would get along great with them!!!!!!!!

What is the problem - he has a shul and could do what he wants. When you have a shul you can do what you want. B"H there are a lot of shuls in Flatbush - go to those shuls to learn, if you don't like his.

I think it is well within his rights to require that the Bochurim there should not be distracted by texting. I once worked with a Bochur who was virtually stuck to his cell phone and texting, I couldn't even count how many times.

In todays times you have to be a bit open minded and know how far you can push people. My rov is chasidish and very open minded to whats going on in the world . He knows that everyone has internet and watches a video here and there. All he asks of us is to put on a filter on our computeres and to be careful of the "rating" of the movie we watch. He said if you are going to watch , then at least let it not be a rated "r"(or worse). That is why everybody in the shul listens to him AND respects him. Because he understands where we are holding.I remeber last year on Superbowl sunday,he didnt tell us not to watch because he knew we were but he asked us to learn before the game and shut it off during commercials. I wish more rabbonim were open minded and be able to talk to everyone on there own level.

is this the HaRav Avruham Schorr - the Schor habor
funny - he says good things, but the guy is off the wall. There is a good reason why he could never keep a job for more than a year or so.
He may be a great talmid chochem, certainly more than me. He may be a malach eloykim, but.. he is most definitely not a MENTCH
