Anti- Semitic scrawl at NYU

The NYPD Hate Crimes task force is investigating an anti- Semitic scrawl at NYU.

Cleaning staff found "Damn Orthodox Jews" scrawled in a first- floor men's room at 40 Washington Square South at 1:45 p.m. Monday.

Cops are poring over surveillance video.

Comments:
I spent four years at NYU and can honestly report it to be one of the most anti-semitic environments I've ever experienced.

I recently attended NYU Law school and found it to be extremely friendly and open to Orthodox Jews. A large portion of their law library is devoted to the Gruss Talmudic Law Library room, which is as complete as any Bais Medrash, they have a full-time Talmudic Law scholar (currently Moshe Halbertal) who is orthodox on staff at all times, and they go out of their way to ensure kosher food at all law school events. This is in addition to the fact that there are typically 5-6 orthodox jews in each year's class, as well as well over a hundred non-orthodox jews.
Please don't create strife where there isn't - the graffiti was probably done by a random idiot.
