Kiryas Joel man, 27, accused of having sexual relationship with boy, 15
A resident of Kiryas Joel has been arrested on charges of sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child.
State Police investigators say Joel Mendlowitz, 27, had been involved in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy, also from Kiryas Joel, since October 2013. The boy's father found evidence of the relationship and reported it to State Police.
Mendlowitz was released pending an Aug. 7 appearance in Town of Monroe Court.
