Heimishe Jewelry thief update: Stores refuse to press charges
Of all the stores that the Heimishe jewelry thief has ripped off (over $100,000 total) only two store owners are willing to press charges. One store is from Monsey and one is from Boro-Park. The Boro-Park store owner contacted the 66th precinct. However, the Captain there takes days to return phone calls and is reluctant to work on the case with him. The Boro-Park store owner is however in contact now with the Rockland County Police together with the Monsey store owner and is pursuing the matter from that angle.
