responsibility is on both sides, and the police were not neccessarily appropriate in their behavior. HOwever, that does not give us reason to act out...to stoop to their level. Unfortunately, we give the secular media the opportunity to paint a negative picture of our community...and that is our mistake.

 

It is standard procedure to have curfews after riots.

And, yes, it was a massive chillul Hashem heard about internationally and it is a blight on all of us, whether or not we live in Boro Park, NY, or beyond.
