When I was younger - a bucher - I thought the Belzer Rebbe sold out. But now that I am older, and MO, I see that the Belzer Rebbe is a true manhig be-yisrael. HaShem should give him koach b/c am yisrael desperately needs his type of leadership.

You guys are nuts R yisroel hager is such pashten he never said a word against his brother even after all the bad things he did to him I was once by a rebbisha wedding & they where both there & by mitzva tantz all the big rebbis went down from the stage to sit next to the rebbi that married off so the asked R Srultcha to come down & sit next to the rebbi he answered he will not go down until his brother came along.
I am not trying to say bad against the belzer but srultcha sits next to mendel by a lot of simchas it is mendel that is fighting a losing battle against his older brother that is ignoring him

 

after killing off half the world the belzer is trying to do something good for a change... by the way the video is 5 years old by r mendel's last chasuna and the fight was not so hot like now......

 

Can someone explain to this ignorant litvak why this is such a big deal???

I haven't been to many chassidesh weddings but even I have seen two men in fur hats and shiny black coats dancing together indoors.

it is a big mazel tov going on in the Hager family this weekend.
president bush makes a wedding for his tochter'l Yente'le and the chuson is: Hager. a far cousin with these great hagers...

i wonder if they are invited at all... since they are all rebbishe families and they are all a little "ungebloozen" on each other...

as a matter of fact rabbi aaron from monroe (a far feter of course) has a good chance to say all the broches (of course from his home on sanz st).

Yisroel Hager gets no respect from me. He is a professional politician and knows the game well. He knows he must play his cards right for he hopes R"L to sit in his father's chair one day. I clearly don't trust this guy, particularly after the way he lied to and tricked Rabbi Mordechai Tendler in his case. And, make no mistake I am not a fan of Rabbi Mordechai Tendler, but do know that Yisroel Hager played a big part in designing that dirty scandal to make Tendler come across as appearing guilty.

Therefore, I wouldn't dance with Yisroel Hager under any circumstances. I only hope Reb Mendel washed his hands well and went to the mikveh after touching him.
