this thing is so sick
I am stuck in traffic an extre 15 minutes just for that on a daily basis.
people slow down to see another peace of junk that bloomerg is coming up between one crazy idea and the other

 

Is this from my taxes?

 

Nymag.com wrote that "[the] waterfalls are a pet project of Michael Bloomberg, who is rumored to have personally paid much of the tab" I wonder just how much "much" is and from where they took the rest of the money.

Talk about improving quality of life in NYC.

"Hey Mayor, lets create a gigantic parking ticket (i'm thinking 100' x 250') and hang it from the Empire State Building (in the name of art, of course). After all, parking tickets are also one of your pet projects!"

I have to agree. That thing is just ridiculous. It doesn't even look like art. It looks more like construction site scaffolding that is leaking water. Pure stupidity!

 

Yup, they all look pathetic. 2 days ago I was going to Willy from Flatbush and it was moving slow. As soon as we past the first falls, traffic just picked up.

 

are you sure thats the BQE and not the FDR Drive?

 

truth is you're right it cant be the FDR, cause then the Manhattan Bridge would be before the Brooklyn bridge not after, as it is in the picture!

 

I think there are 2 - one on each side of the east river - correct me if i'm wrong

 

I saw the one on the B Q E & F D R both falls where running slanty cause of the winds it was so ugly also they put them in middle of a empty spot it looks so funny
Wonder who the planner was

Can't wait until this stupid Bloomburg leaves office & ashud he is not running for president so he can lose 350million dollars in his campaign cause he wouldn't make it anyway

 

15 MINUTES IN TRAFFIC? I DOUBT IT I TOO SIT IN TRAFFIC ON THE BQE EVERY DAY IT'S MORE LIKE 5 MINUTES - NOT EVEN AND WHEATHER YOU APPROVE OF MR BLOOMBERG'S TASTE WHO CARES IT'S NOT YOUR MONEY ANYWAY AND FACT IS IT GENERATES MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN TOURIST INCOME. THE "FLOATING POOL" THAT WAS DOCKED IN PLACE OF THE WATERFALL LAST SUMMER CREATED WAY MORE TRAFFIC......

 

look how stupid we new yorkers r, everybody knows it is stupid,everybody knows that someone else gained out of this [who knows maybe coned] but not the new yorkers, and all we do is put it on utube, blog about it, say how stupid it is, etc. but no action, keep it up

 

Are you all sure this is supposed to be an art piece ??I also run into this problem traveling to willy Mon.-Thursday But I see some construction going on down there Mayby it has something to do with that.Please correct me
