R' M. D. Ungar is about to begin construction on the old Bais Yaakov building. The building, once all the necessary renovations are done, will be the new Bobover beis hamedrash of khal sharei tzion . I guess that's better than having those highway construction lights along with a tent.

They asked for it, but then, ehen the board found out about the new politics, backed out and refused to let them have the building, as so not to get involved. Z.A.Reinhold, called his mechuten, M.Ch.Mandelbaum, who is one of the Bobover Rebbe's closest people, and said"you(meaning R'B.Z.'s people) don't want us homeless on the street on Purim". The result was, that R' Benzion himself called Rabbi Kaplan-I think that's his name-and asked him to give them the building as a personal favor to himself. Yes, he meant his own good, but they still got their base of operations only through him ! Ask the typical bochur by oUngar about this, and they'll scream :sheker", but ask the people who really know what's going on, and they just might admit it. You don't have to believe my word, but all I can say is that I know it's true, because I was there in R' B.Z.'s room during the phone calls.

I don't know why anyone is putting down either side of the machloikes. There are two sides that each feel they have a legitimate claim. They are therefore going to go to Din Torah to settle it. In the meantime they are choosing to Daven elsewhere.

Going to din torah is not machloikes. The torah clearly says that din torah is to settle differences, which is exactly what is being done. There is no mesira, fights, burning down buildings, shaving beards, stealing clothing in the mikvah, and all other things normally done when chasidim fight. I am actually quite impressed that both sides have tried to minimize machloikes, and want to settle it the proper way.

You are right, but to an extent. Somebody like Reb Benzion, is a son of his father, and in line with quite a distinguished lineage. He is a gevaldige talmid chochom I don't know if he can kvetch a blatt like R' M.D, but just go hear his Torah and shmuesen like I did, and you'll be impressed too. It's his father' shul, was his brothers, and he deserves it, and if you'll take something away from me, I'll fight you for it too.
