11 year old boy accident update: Boy is conscious, may need head surgery
The 11 year old that was hit by a car yesterday is in Lutheran Hospital and is fully conscious now. He however has bleeding in his head and may need surgery if the bleeding doesn't stop. The accident happened near the Spinka Yeshivah where the boy learns. The traffic light at the corner was broken resulting in a car proceeding through against the light and hitting the boy.

Just to follow up on your story.... Latest reports are, that there are at least 200 mice droppings.
We are currently waiting for Mayor Bloomberg to give us an update on the situation.
Press conference will be held on the steps of city hall.

The press conference was about to begin when 2 mice ran throught the Mayor's feet. He jumped and fell on his head and ended up in the hospital awaiting surgery. The person that reeported the mice dropping at first is being held liable for this and has a hearing scheduled for later in the day.
To protest this we will be holding a demonstaration on the steps of City Hall in the hope that no mice attend. To enforce this we ask all heimishe exterminators to come and protect us.

As far as we know, the mice were NOT driving. However you make a good point, somebody should sue the mice! I'm sure there's a lawer that will be happy to take on this case.
My suggestion is try Mr Hang Yu, he's a top lawyer in china town.

with all the jokes, where are Dov and Simcha when you need them? Oh...Dov is in Gush Katif and Simcha is hanging around with mayor blumberg(raising our taxes) Shouldn't our representatives be responsive when we have brpekn traffic lights?
