Why is it that Lipa Shmeltzer gets the hit, is it because he looks and sounds the part? Everyone else who uses Goyisheh tunes doesn't get banned, only after Lipa gets banned then they say we will put out a list of others too. For years everyone was singing and dancing to Goyishe tunes from Piamenta and, don't make me say it, MBD! Yidden is a German rock song!
As far as I know the only "big singer" not guilty of using Goyisheh tunes is Avraham Fried.
Personally, I think copying songs is cheap but I don't feel it necessary to ban.
My main point is that why pick on Lipa, EVERYONE does it!

I don't know where Lipa grew up, but he is currently living in New Square. According to friends who live and grew up in New Square, you can't get a house or apt. in New Square unless you basically grew up there. Even Boro Park New Squarers are not be allowed to move into New Square (unless you are the female new wife moving in with your New Square husband).
