Goldberg's Grocery gets hit by false rumors
There is apparently someone that has quite a beef (no pun intended) with Goldberg's Grocery in Boro-Park. Over the past few days someone has been trying to create panic and falsely spread the word that low-priced Kosher Supermarket has been selling non-kosher chicken. The owners of Goldberg's Grocery do not know how or why this rumor has started, but they say that they have losing business because of it. According to a source in the grocery, Goldberg's has always been extra careful in making sure that their chicken and meats come only from places with the highest Kashrus standards and that they are extremely vigilant with the Kashrus in their store throughout the entire process in order to insure that their customers get the best Kosher meats.

Apparently, Chaptzem DOES endorse the spiritual tarfus created by the incredible amounts of Loshon Horah that the moderator permits.

Finally a normal post. Congragulations! Obviously whenever there is such a massive story rumors fly around. Unfortunately peoples buissiness get hurt. R' Meilich Narpostiker is an "Ehrliche Butcher" and anyone can see whats going on in the butcher shop there is no closed door there. I hope that peoplew will stop spreading these false rumors about Goldbergs and Netzch.

I'ts unreal that someone who has a grudge against somebody can go post anything on any blog without any name it's "MAKKAH RAEIHI BESISER" and it's damaging the other guy's reputation and integrity and it has no truth whatsoever, for this reason alone the internet shall be banned!!!!

I know Mr. Goldberg personally and I'm not a Gerer. He is an incredible ball chesed and ehrlicher Yid. Shame on you for saying this about his store!!

Goldberg's Grocery is one of the first grocers that gave the Kosher consumer a break. He employs tens of Heimishe people, & it is incumbent on the Heimishe Oilim to patronize their store.
I buy all of my groceries, cleaning products, paper goods, meat & deli at their store.
Can I do better at Costco or Shoprite? Probably.
But if someone were to make a chesben how much they really save a year using Goldberg's (or any of the Heimishe Supermarkets) for just the bare necessities or items that we can’t buy at Wal-Mart, Pathmark etc. it probably does not amount to much. This is the highest form of Tzedaka.
It is a Shanda that someone is trying to besmirch the fine reputation of a wonderful business in our midst.
