Chelev found on Meal-Mart (Alle) liver that was sold as Meniker
A Yingerman who is educated in Kashrus, walked into Jerusalem Meats on 13th Avenue and 52nd Street and purchased a package of Meal-Mart liver that was marked as Meniker. When he opened it up he found that there was Chelev on it. He brought this to the attention of the butcher who agreed that it looked funny. The butcher took it back and opened up a fresh box of Meal-Mart liver that was also marked Meniker and gave the Yingerman from it. When the Yingerman inspected the new livers, they too were not Meniker and were full of Chelev. The Yingerman bought the entire case of liver, sixty pounds worth, and made an appointment with the Hisachdus HaRabonim (CRC) to discuss this with them and show them what he had found. He showed up the next day to their office and was told to wait for them and they would call him in for the meeting. After three hours of waiting and being pushed off, he was told that the Rabbonim had left and he would have to leave. Ok people get your big pots of water boiling, it's Kashering time again.

Among other things, I say that Hashem at least wants us to be Ne'emanim (honest and ehrlich) to the utmost degree (as we are Yidden and this is expected of us). That is why all these Kashrus issues (Ne'emanus) keep cropping us-- to show us what happens when we arent Ne'eman

Funny how the story changed from yesterday, when it was first spread around on phone hotline, when they claimed that the Rabbanim all werte there and saw the cheilev... and even that a menkaer was fired. Seems that story didn't take, so this is a more believeable version.

I find any wrongdoing on Meal Mart's side hard to believe. Knowing the proprietors for years, they'd do anything, at any cost, to stay away from anything that even had suspicion of problems. Someone is starting with them. Their reputation will never be tarnished by anything proven.

Pardon the ignorance (I'm a female that never learned Kashrus of liver), but don't all livers have Chelev, Both kosher and non kosher? What are the pictures proving?

How about organizing a complete boycott of meat and chicken for 1 day or week. I am sure a loud message will get out there that for the price we are paying, we expect KOSHER food. It is despicable how low we have sunk, that we are now required to constantly check up on the mashgichim, who are supposed to be paid to ensure kashrus. Apparently there are major problems with the current standards of quality and kashrus and until something is done, we should all stand up against this.

The problem is all there are no Yiray Shomayim left.

even all the known rabbis who speak in public about L"H are constantly being
machnis & motze Shem Ra on people
so it make sense that the food sold to the public will only bring more Timtum! & $ to their pockets.

How wrong you are! There are many Yirei Shomayim. We just choose not to associate with them. Baalei Tsheeva and Gairim, undoubtedly, have, almost w/o exception, much more Yiras Shomayim and Midos than most other Frime Yidden. When will we wake up and admit it? When we accept them, they will infuse us with our lost Yiras Shomayim. we badly need a blood tranfusion from them in our Frim communities. They are the real Mccoy. We're too narrow minded to let them in.

noone cares anymore, meal mart has serious money to shut these rabbis up and i wouldnt be suprised if people where threatened, some skinny rabbis are not easy to make em scared to shut up
