Those kids are not going to go to jail. A Jewish lawyer is going to convince the judge to send them to Israel for "punishment" Then they will go do israeli girls as their "punishment"

These are very serious charges against them. For the 15 year old kids...maybe, but for the other ones, I do not think it will work.

Moreover, let us say they are going to go to Israel, what are they going to do then? Beat up some more Muslims? How will the court allow it?

Now I have no sympathy for "Muslims” and I think that they should be sent out of Israel and America. I just hope these kids get off easy, but I do not see it happening.

if the shoe was on the other foot you would be screaming bloody murder ,what they did was wrong and should pay the penalty I'm no big fan of muslims but let make the game fair to everyone.

 

These chevra are street bums(what is a yeshiva boy doing hanging in dunkin donuts anyway),who should be locked up for years to come. One of them is a Yeshiva Tora Temima dropout(they knew who they were throwing out!!).
These kids have been causing tzoras to their "landsleit" for years ,now they have started up with the opposing team,and we will suffer the consequences.
You know,I dont feel bad for these "kids at risk";they should all be avoided and treated like the plague that they are!
We do`nt need them(or their parents)in our schools and shuls.

I don't know what type of person you are, but to put my comments in context:

I am 100% anti violence, anti religious hatred, and a big fan of the hate crime laws.

BUT

I know the ignorance of teenage boys in general, and frum boys specifically.

Despite how wrong wrong wrong what they are accused of is, prison is not the right punishment in this setting.


Why?


Even a streetwise 17 year old is in mortal danger in prison, can you imagine what it will be like for a skinny white jewish 17 year old?

They will be raped the first night and tortured every day after. Their life will be over, probably infected with HIV when they are released.

I don't know what type of person you are, but I can't imagine anyone wishing that stupid teenagers that did a really really stupid spontaneous act, should be punished that way.

You should read:

before you open your ignorant mouth.

Maybe we can have you spend a night in prison and have your white ass raped before you'd be so quick to put these teenagers in that position.

I'm not even frum anymore. I just think it's odd that I care more about what happens to people from a community I don't even belong to any more, while people from their community are throwing them to the wolves. Very sad.

10:32 - you've intrigued me. What do you suggest they do with these boys? They did something very wrong- against Torah thought and the law. They are troubled and troublemakers. Send them to jail and they get raped. Keep them safe and then they learn they can do what they please. Yes they did a stupid thing, but how spontaneous could it have been? They riled themselves up and behaved like a mob. FYI people from our community are not throwing them to the wolves. There are people out there trying to set these kids up with counsel. Still, it doesn't erase the fact that these boys shamed our community. We are embarrassed by what they did. When people say send them away they probably don't hear what they're saying. They probably want to disassociate from the incident.

 

They will never learn;for years the institutins they were in tried and failed;thse kids are delinquents who have NO CHANCE of getting back to normal (not specificaly frum)society. let them get AIDS or die of an overdose,or become homeless,at least that way only they and not the community,suffers.
I don`t particularly care about them surviving,they are "rodphim",and on top of that, have a din of "ben sorer umoreh".
Do not waste your tears on these dregs of society.

Islam should be outlawed. Every Muslim should be arrested and deported. I sort of agree with the guy from www.bombislam.com.

Instead of labeling me with names, such as "ignorant zionist", why not have a civil debate. Name-calling is the defense for only the non-thinker.

i am very troubled by the posts i am reading here from jews that are attacking these boys in the harshest of terms, without hearing their side of the story. the story that is being reported by the media is all based on what the "victim" amber said happened. All you moral jews just rush to lash out at them without even being "dan" them "lzchus". You should be ashamed of yourselves. i happen to know that the story could not be further from the real truth. "Innocent" actually started up with the boys both verbally and physically. the boys tried to get away from him to no avail. when he continued with his verbal and physical tormenting they finally hit back. granted they hit hard and broke his nose (find me a person that gets hit with brass knuckles in the face several times and still has a face= there obviously were none). the boys waited for the police to come since they called them and wanted to tell the story of how this guy started everything...but when the police came amber told them a completely different and false story...the story which you all rushed so quickly to believe and stand on...and the boys were arrested for a hate crime which they certainly never commited.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves, and should ask each boy and their familys for mechila...and if I were them I wouldnt be so quick to grant it to you.

and for shmucko that posted November 04, 2006 8:53 PM about paying to have the boys sent off to jail. you obviously have more problems than any of these boys and should seriously do some soul searching. even if these boys had committed the crimes that they are being accused of (which once again...they did not), they are still young and certainly would be better off with love rather than with your wrath. you should put that money (which im sure you dont even have) towards better causes...and you can start with helping the boys.

as things stand now, this is pidyun shivuyim in the greatest sense and these boys could use you tefilos and certainly your support.

there is also A LOT more details which i can not share with you at this time regarding the truth of this entire story that amber is claiming. the ENTIRE story is false...and you will hear more details once the case starts.

 

I was one of those kids at risk and I did not have an easy time at home or in my five high schools, but I always thought other Jews like my parents (both loving parents and not fakers) and my rebbes even in the worse schools woudl never think or talk like the incredibly nasty comments I have read today. I know some of those boys in Brooklyn's brothers and I have asked my father a crimial lawyer to help. BTW for all of you who want to throw us kids at risk to the dogs, today I known as a big masmid in BMG. I love BMG and the torah menshen I live and learn with and do not believe they would talk so harshly about a kid at risk. Yes I am on my back to BMG to keep my siderim. Since this is all anonymous I know most of seder nashim baal peh so maybe you should lighten up on kids at risk so turn up in BMG without hang ups.
