I must be missing something here. I've seen the poster here in Willy of the yingle with pious. But what is all this about? I'm in the dark on this one.

The boys in those pictures look about the same age as mine (currently 8 and 6). If either of them started sprouting facial hair like those I would be extremely worried about what might be in our water supply...

even though i think its kinda weird that the advertisements are blacked out, i do know however that oorah is the most obsolete kiruv organization. look at the propaganda fro year to year, they dont even bother to change the pictures. they do very little for the amount of money they elicit. I must admit though they are master fundraiser… but then again im sure the pope is a nice, ma kesher

 

I would like to take issue with the last comment.
Oorah does alot of good work. I happen to know for a fact that they pay tuition for thousands of children and high schools students who would otherwise be in public school.

 

OK now we see who exactly is using the bankroll. It's none other than "Independent Frum Thinker" so is Oorah your cash cow? Are you the guy pocketing the money? Humm... are you the guy who dresses up as a cucumber to rake in the bucks? Ya know what...anybody who makes a fool out of himself and walks around like a cucumis sativus deserves any amount people give him. Kepp up the good work!

 

i'm sorry to randomly bring this is, but it makes me laugh, and embarrasses me a little to think that WE are now so involved with "kiruv richokim" when twenty years ago, some of our grandfathers were practically murdering lubavitchers for doing exactly that!
