The Schnoro-Park mobile

Comments:
I never get what you are trying to tell us with your picture posts. Whether it's a Chassidish woman being questioned by police, or this picture and others without a story behind it. Why do you do this?

Anyone who has ever walked down 48th Street between 12th & 13th avenues has seen this vehicle. So what are you trying to tell us about it?

thats called a fully loaded van!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in the neighborhood where this van is "parked". The owner has several such vans and every few months the pile on the roof grows taller and taller. It's disgusting, a real eyesore. I can't imagine that a "petition" on a blog would change anything, but I was glad to see that it caught someone else's attention, too. These days, in BP, it looks like everything goes.

What is your point??? say this was someones home, is it right to be making fun of them??? there are ppl who dont have homes to live in??? be glad you have a roof ontop of your head to sleep in during the night.

I am not from Boro Park, but every time I come to NY and stay at the Park House, I get to see the van, and I am reminded again why I don't want to live in NY/BP ever. This, along with annoying parking tickets no matter where you park.

Your next picture can be of the car with all of the used coffee cups inside.

he realy has a "overhead" poor soul ! maybe he is a mitzva tank

All of your NASTY and INCONCIDERATE comments are unfortunately a sign of the times.
Has anyone posting on here or anyone that has ever seen this van, given any thought as to how this person earns his parnoso?
Maybe he would like to drive a Lincoln towncar like you but cannot afford it. Where is all the CHESED from Boro Park????
Is life all about making FUN of the unfortunate??? Maybe someone can discretely get this person out of his financial mess.
NO-ONE keeps a van like this for pleasure!!! Find out who the owner is ??? does he have $$$$ for matzos and wine for Pesach????
Could he possibly be in need of help???

The owner is an elderly individual, who keeps some merchandise on his van. He tries to earn a living and is very active in Tzeddakah and Chesed. He uses that van mostly for Chesed, and it's a shame that people make fun of it. I know the guy and can tell you he is a great person.
