these guys are typical liberals.
everything is acceptable, except conservative thought including religion. what a bunch of fakes.

and, i don't believe that girl is chasidic anyway, not just the lack of accent but the word usage is just not haimish, not even brooklynish.

 

hey, anon 9:20, you dont know what youre talking about. Did you expect her to say something like:
my perents dunt let me vatch telervision or whatever else the chassishe english is all about? When I heard her I already got a picture in my mind of what type of girl this might be.

 

I agree 100% not a chassidish girl. Maybe a modern orthodox.

i would stick with anonymous it makes sense to say what hes saying and also for dan likaf zechus but im a big fan of even mistakes to goad and manipulate the community to rethink its breathing capability and that percent of the community that might need to goto israel and go "chavakuk" dance and sing and go touring and find out its funky to go tznius or something and the accent was very easygoing and prust its a fake and like the neturay karta its meant to be ignored and not given any credibility and attention maybe just leave them to the back of the shul and let it blow over

I noted the lack of an accent. I assume that she is either Lubavitch, most of whom speak English as a first language, or she is yeshivish, but referred to herself as Chassidish, because that is a term that the secular audience is familiar with. For the purposes of the show, there is no difference between Chassidim and litvish Bais Yaakov girls.

She is not a non-religious person, who called, to impersonate a chossid, if that is what you are implying.

On a side note, the clip has to be a few years old, because Adam Carolla hasn’t been on the show in years, now that he has his own morning show.

 

She might be Lubavitch. Or Chasidish-lite from BP.

 

I only listened to the very beginning and to me she doesn't have the voice inflections of any frum girl I know, Chassidish, Lubavitch, Yeshivish, etc. maybe modern, but, I 'm not sure about that either.

 

I have NEVER heard a single Chassidishe girl who sounds like her, without a trace of a Chassidish accent AND a Goyishe twang to her voice, in my life. Gimme a break! She's a Shikse, or has Chassidishe blood from a few generations ago, and was raised Mod. Orth. or Goyish!

First of all she never initaTED BY SAYING SHE WAS CHASIDISH . sECONDLY, SHE WAS ASKED BY THE RADIO HOST IF SHE WAS HASSIDIC.
THE TERM HASSIDIC BY THE GOYIM MEANS YESHIVISH, LITVISH , MODERN ORTHODOX AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN . BESIDES SHE COULD VERY WELL BE A GIRL FROM A CHASSIDISH BACKROUND ,PERHAPS FROM THE WEST COAST OR FLORIDA WHERE THEY DONT CARRY YOUR TYPICAL DUMB CHASSIDISH OR YESHIVISH ACCENT. TO PROVE MY POINT I MYSELF COME FROM A VERY EDUCATED CHASSIDISH FAMILY BACKROUND WITH A VERY NORMAL AND PROFFESSIONAL ACCENT.
I AM VERY CONVINCED THAT THIS GIRL IS VERY GENUINE.

 

Get real! Any girl in Bais Yaakov of BP or BYG or chassidic girl sent to mechon or the likes would sound like that. Unless u folks don't count those as chassidim, but they do call themselves that.

 

It very well may be a chassidishe girl and even if its not its a big chillul hashem! Face the facts I'm sure that there are many more girls like her and something has to be done about it.
Secondly, you shuoldnt be playing things like this on a chasidishe news site!

 

I'm offering a reward to anyone who can come up with any Chassidish girl, NOW, that sounds like that girl! It'll take you a long time. The girl would have to go to "Diction school" first.

i am sorry to tell you but not only could this girl be chassidish. she doesnt have to be lubavirch or litvish. i am lubavitch and come from a VERY chassidishe family and i do not sound like a boro parker. i sound like a normal american. she said that her parents are extremely religious which means that they probably are chassiidish. like from boro park. let me just tell you that if the girl feels that way let her feel that way but normally the way it works is that the stricter the parents are the more the kid wants to go off the derech. this girl prob just needs to get out into the real world and see what its like and make her own decision. thats all.
