What have they said that is incorrect about the Hasidim, the Satmar specifically? Do they not think they are the only true Jews and any Jew who doesn't follow their strict life-style is not a Jew? We see it every day, especially in Israel, where the ultra-Orthodox (even those who don't support a Jewish state) try to tell us who can be a Jew and who is not.

 

Am Yisroel is lost. These people are clearly in pain. Let's be positive, care for our fellow Jews and stop sticking our collective heads in the sand. The last thing you should do is make fun of these people.

 

Is this is really a worthwhile topic to waste this space on? So much more good can be done here instead of wasting time on these loosers!

if we would refrain from lashon hara these boys would not stray...

 

They are good Jews, they are party of the Chulent Crowd, they have thier own way of thinking and nothing wrong.

Show me one chasssidish rebbe or litvishe rosh yeshiva that genuinly looks happy. Show me one picture of R shteinman or satmer or bobov Rebbes that look happy. They are all misrable.

how on earth is this video anti-frum? the video only proves that in some ways these "upgefurine" feel more truly and deeply about frumkeit than most frum people.

I'm sorry I dont get what there bashing here. Saw this clip a while back and all I see here are a few good men talking about life, religion, shitels and the universe. if anything I was thrilled to see them talking about something other than baseball. Thats all I ever hear yeshiva boys talk about. I'm sorry ther conversation doesnt live up to your standards. what is it you talk about behind closed doors?

i agree with shmutzi, it is a discussion about yidishkite, frumkite. what is so bad about it?
if you were to record some of the young chasidim today i bet some of the conversations will be alot worse, and i've heard worse from people with the whole levush.

 

i watched the video. noone was bashing anyone. they were just having an honest discussion jew to fellow jew to discover the truth. they look like sweet boys who are doing their best to be close to hashem despite all.
