Comments:
is that young kid a real hatzolah chief??? he is wearing a white shirt like in a supervisor status...
First off, I hope the business and others did not have major damage, few people come out ahead after a fire.
The photographs case one to beg the question, how are there so many people on the street with nothing else to do. If all the young people watching the fire have so much time then our mosdos should start a chesed campaign. Chsed is not just for girls in High school. Have them volunteer to visit cholim or old people or disabled children, it all teaches them more about life than they learn watching the fire fighters.

I wonder if the pervious posting was written by one who so busy, he didn't have time to post on blogs!!!
P.S. Live & let live. Why do people 'rubberneck'? Never watcched an action, performance etc. Sorry to have to inform you (busy as you are), but some find fire fighting fascinating. Some (who are even busy) will be mesmerized by it. Welcome to planet earth. People here.

To Mr Live and let live;
I accept a later post's observation that Visnitz camp was leaving from that area. That explains the crowd.
I do not revoke what I said about what appeared to be too many bochrim with too much time. Free time can lead to problems and there should be alternative plans for activities, be they sports, limudei Kodesh, limiudei chol or chesed. The same crowds appeared when there was the Schick incident, that was not a fire incident.

This was mid afternoon, and it is bein hazmanim. The bochurim have some time off, as does every child in NYC public school system as well. If this fire happened in Harlem, there would be kids as well, as well as hundreds of adults, who should be working, but are collecting gov't checks. Why don't you take your obviously tainted ideology somewhere else.
" as well as hundreds of adults, who should be working, but are collecting gov't checks."
are you saying its only people in Harlem that collect govt checks hhmmmmm
