New Satmar Chasunah pre-Takuneh survey questionnaire

Satmar sent out this questionnaire to their members as a tool for shaping the forthcoming Satmare Chasunah Takunehs.

Please post a pdf, or at least a clearer scan. shkoyach

My favorite part is looking at the "semichas haparshiyois" so that "broynfen" is adjacent to the "kinder tisch", which is, to my mind, a good thing :)

Witch Satmar is this?

ridiculously absurd!

all things adressed are great. how about adressing apartments and rent? that today is the greatest expense!

there needs to be additional questions to this questionnaire.

Oh HEAVEN FORBID any young person start out the hard way, actually having to work *gasp* and not live off their parents.

People should not be told how to spend their money, where to go to make simchas, how often to buy gifts, who should receive gifts and what kinf of gift they can only receive. The NERVE such a Takanah is made.

I'm so glad that I'm a Viznitzer Chossid who lives in BP and DO NOT have to buy this nonsense. I love splurging whenever I can and will SURELY do so when making a Chasunah,Aufruf, etc.

what about customized thank you cards for the presents, benchers/matches/ flowers on each table for people to take home from the wedding? How about a honey moon?

where is the megillah holder for the chosson, the 5 piece pesach set used at the table for the chosson. The Chosson SHOULD have 2 shtreimels- one more expensive than the other, the second one is used for the rain.

Chosson and Kallah ShOULD be able to give presents to one another for their birthdays, for Rosh Hashana.

Who ever heard of using a postcard for a wedding invitation? Unheard of.

This whole Tkana is crazy, abnormal.

I don't understand why you all are so angry about this great idea!
Whoever knows any jewish history will know, there were always Takonos in diverse Kehilles throughout Europe to minimize expences for Simches. These takonos held maybe a generation or more. There were also Takonos on clothing, see Takonos in Wilna in the time of the Gaon.
It is always good to remind Jiden in the time of Golus not to spend too much on Moisres which also stecht die Goiyim their eyes out! Kli Yokor, lived 400 years ago, laments throughout his Sefer very often about these things.

KEEP THIS TAKANAH ON THE DOWN LOW. NO NEED TO PUBLICIZE IT.

THIS TAKANAH IS PURE TRASH, NONSENSE, A BIG WASTE OF TIME FOR ANYONE TO REALLY READ IT.

SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN POSTED.
