BREAKING NEWS - Burglary at Dicci in Boro-Park
Dicci, the brand new Fifth-Avenue boutique on Thirteenth Avenue in Boro-Park was broken into overnight. Sources say that the break-in was the work of smash-and-grab burglars and not Kanoyim.

This happens in New York!? I thought that New York is very peaceful. Anyone who does this is a kanoy. Sorry to hear about this. I hope they have insurance through any organization.
Those that feel DICCI is expensive have never been to Pessy Lew or many other stores in BP! DICCI is cheap by comparison!
With the high prices of homes, high rents and prices of food going up who has the keseph to buy clothes at these stores. I shop at Century, Target, Mini Max(on 5th Ave) I work 2 jobs just to live in BP . What ever happened to looking like a queen or a malkah for a modest budget?

The plural form of husband is husbands, not husband's. Husband's with an apostrophy is the possesive form of the noun.
Do you 'blaim' the yeshiva you attended as a child for the fact that you can't write?

Hey professor, it's apostrophe not apostrophy. Please watch yore (your) own spelling before you go around correcting someone else's.
This discussion started with a store problem in BP. So remember, the correct term is husband's because those wives that shop in these stores are the wives that control their homes and husbands, thus they possess their husband!-

Whatever your personal opinion about the store- it's too Manhattan, it's too attentiona seeking and provacative, it's too expensive (which is ridiculous, you have no right to vandalize a store.
Look at it this way: the way you choose to set up your store is a matter of taste and lifestlye.
Breaking a store's window is stealing, and one million percent against halacha.
You have it clear cut there. No two ways about it that this was not the right thing to do, and only a busha and shanda to the Jewish community. You don't like the standard it's setting? Go write a letter to the Hamodia or Yated or have your Rav speak about it. Vandalizing is criminal and in no way sancitifed by halacha. This is not something like Pinchas and Zimri.
I hope they go out of business.

Who cares if they make their stuff in China. All better name brands do so nowadays. At least they have top designers designing their clothing with taste and tznious and very fair prices. People can finally afford to shop in Boro Park for the same prices like they pay at Loemans or Syms.
Dicci is not a "5th Avenue Boutique" (whatever that is). It's a store whose most distinctive feature is its two-story glass front. The clothes look like stuff my late aunts used to wear, not much different from what plenty other shops sell. As a woman customer, I would feel "cold" and "exposed" shopping there, hence the improvised improvements like the cheap folding screen near the front. Look up to the roof and you can spot the ragged edge of the unfinished tarpaper. The real story about Dicci is this: Some young pey-tzadik had a "big idea" and blew his cash on it. Business s*cks & cash is low, so a door gets smashed and "precious inventory" gets "stolen". Business still s*cks. Pay-tzadik is getting ready to do "take a match, make a scratch, no more Dicci-store". To cover his tracks, he prints his own flyers protesting the "Tumah & pritzus-nusach-Manhattan-boutique". (Have you seen "Manhattan" fashions lately?) Wanna take bets on how soon Dicci burns?
its husband's with the apostrophe but if you are saying it that the wives own the husband's its written as husbands'
BTW, WHOEVER WAS NOT IN THE STORE YET, HAS NO RIGHTS TO SAY THAT THEIR STUFF IS EXPENSIVE, ALSO JUST IN CASE YOU DONT KNOW RALPH LAUREN, AND GUCCI AS WELL AS COACH HAVE ONLY FACILITIES IN CHINA, THE FUTURE OF PRODUCTION IS THERE. ANYWAYS WE B.P. WOMEN ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE BEAUTIFUL MODEST AND AFFORDABLE CLOTHING THEY SELL!

Typing in capital letters means shouting. Why are you shouting with such intensity? You sound so angry? Since you know so well where Gucci, Ralph Lauran, and Coach manufacture, you are probably in the same line, manufacturing from China too. It makes it easy to assume you are most likely associated with Dicci yourself!!
May I quote your words, "WHOEVER WAS NOT IN THE STORE YET,"HAS NO RIGHT"... Those are very strong words coming from a very angry person. (maybe the owner Bichvodo Uveotzmo alone..) What "RIGHT" do you have telling people what their RIGHTS are!!

Berel, you're a smart and keen guy. It wouldn't have crossed my mind that someone be so stupid! Well, it didn't cost him/her any money to post an advertisement here, so why not? I just don't understand why advertise so cheaply. Maybe next time they consult among themselves e.g. G&G for advice on advertising.

Why don't you call 911 and order them to make the situation according to your wishful thinking! Have the police cuff the entire b.p. community and drag'em into YOUR concentration campstore, because YOU HAVE THE RIGHTS! and while you are at it, give the arrested THE RIGHTS to choose, please!

Upgrading the store with fancy decor wont put China out of town, and signing with three initials will still give out the G for GLAUBER
Why is everyone so grudge about DICCI's. they have every right to advertise as they please, and to decorate the store according to their preferences, just like all other stores. I don't see the big deal about the decor or their clothing. I don't see them being more elaborate than many other stores in B.P. Come off it!
I WAS JUST THIS WEEK IN THE STORE, AND I ADVICE ALL OF YOU PPPLE THAT HAVE NEGATIVE OPINIONS TO PAY A VISIT THERE. THE CLOTHING ARE BEAUTIFUL AND TZNIUSDIG AND MOST OF ALL AFFORDABLE. THIS IS WHAT THE BP COMMUNITY NEEDED BADLY. WE CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY $800 FOR A NICE WEDDING OUTFIT. AND TO ALL JELLY BEANS COOL IT OFF...
