Delivery Yingerman gets tickets while in probationary period

A Yingerman, who does some side work as a delivery guy, was stopped by a Police Officer for passing a stop sign. When the Cop asked for his license, registration and insurance, the Yingerman could not produce a valid insurance card for the vehicle. The Police Officer then proceeded to issue the Yingerman two tickets, one for passing a stop sign and one for failure to produce a valid insurance card. The Yingerman still has twenty days left until he is out of his new-driver six-month probationary period and may lose his license because of the tickets.

Comments:
Gee,
Perhaps, the Yingerman should have followed the LAW, and since he was on a probationary period, perhaps he should have ensured that he drove in a more careful manner that would not have had him stopped? I know that following the law is a unique concept for many of us out there, but the best way to remain out of legal trouble, is not to do anything ILLEGAL. Don't blame the police officer because the yingerman did not do what he was supposed to.

why was the yingerman driving without insurance in the first place?

Must be a slow news day.

It's just amazing how people in Boro Park think that they are above the law. This includes everything to driving issues. Maybe these people should move to another country where there are no laws and you can do whatever you want.

"The Yingerman still has twenty days left until he is out of his new-driver six-month probationary period and may lose his license because of the tickets."

.

Isn't this the purpose for having a probationary period?

Who says it happened it in Boro Park? Is that the only place there are Yingermen????

WHO CARES?!

THIS MAJOR NEWS MADE THE NY TIMES HEADLINES

Why is this even news? Should we be outraged at the actions of the officer?

Moral: Please come to a full stop at stop signs. Hardly anyone does anymore.

Just because the yingerman passed a stop sign does not mean he thinks he is above the law. I do not understand however why this was posted in the first place. Why do you not post what the yingerman ate for breakfast. It is about as relevant as this post

no mercy for him. FLOOW THE LAW or DONT DRIVE. YOU CHEVRAH is what makes OUR CHEVRA look bad.

As they say here in "De Goldena Medina": Do the crime - do the time!!

It's an early lesson to be learned. Simply put, if you have an accident -AND IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT, as an uninsured motorist, you will be liable. Do you have the money??? I doubt it. What if you kill someone?? Did that ever go through your mind???

Likely not.

Have a nice day....

Another wonderful Yingerman saga. Arer all these guys on stupid pills? Stop means STOP. Maybe this guy is from Willy and never learned how to read? Maybe he learns in Spinka he was practicing how to flee from the scene of a crime. Maybe he is a little boy in a big mans body just playing Hatzooleh without the lights and cherry? Or just maybe he is a plain 'ol idiot who deserves to be without a license!

First he crashed his plane and now this! Can't this Yingerman catch a break, uh, a train?

THE COP IS FOR SURE A ANTISEMITE HE HAS NO RIGHT PULLING OVER A YUNGERMAN PASSING A STOP SIGN BORO PARK BELONGS TO THEM THEY OWN IT SO IF HE PASSED IT IT'S ALLOWED

Anti-semite!!!!!!

VER IZ IM SHILDIG?

what about a little compassion. If Chas Veshalom the Ribbono Shel Olam will be a fraction as hard on us as most of you are to our fellow Jews who admittely make mistakes, we're in HUGE trouble. Try & be a little more understanding & give each other a bigger break & he will too.

Maybe the Yingerman was fleeing from the hands of Reb Jerry Brauner?!

very simple solution, Get a Copy of the Insurance card and mail it in not guilty. If it is a company truck the most probably have insurance. Then plead not guilty on the Stop sign and push it off as far as you can, even pay the Bond. Then he will be out of the probationary period. NOTICE TO ALL BORO PARK and WILLY CITIZENS:There is a way not to get tickets!DONT GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO GIVE YOU ANY!!Follow the law by the book and make their life hard. This means parking tickets too. I drive all the time in these areas and maybe get a ticket once a year. These roaches flood our areas because we make it too easy for them. I also belive that this a Bloomberg Evil Policy to get people out of cars , and into Mass Transit.Did you notice there are more Traffic stops, and parking agents around? Also what about the $8.00 congestion fee. Bloomberg didnt get his way witth that so he makes peoples life miserable with tickets,so people will say its cheaper to take the train or bus. The traffic stops are ALL OVER THE CITY, not only in BP, so this is a calculated city policy to get us out of cars because they pollute the air.

My son passed a red light in BP a cop pulls behind him & on his PA system he said "Red means Stop & Green means Go" he didn't exit his cruiser he let him go.

another example of racial profiling by New York's finest

Issue #1, Was it a company vehicle or the more likely using his personal car for a business purpose. That us is not covered by insurance in case of an accident.

Issue #2 Was he not insured or just did not have his Insurance ID with him. The more important thing is to be insured.

Issue #3 If he went through a red light and is found guilty then the law as designed will have serious consequences indeed.
There are worse things in life. perhaps he got off to a bad start because evidently he either does not understand rules or does not care.

What is wrong with just being compassionate towards our fellow man, and having understanding to unfortunate events that befall all of us? Errors are made, even errors that could kill or maim innocent pedestrians or fellow drivers. Dangerous outcomes from little or no forethought. Outcomes that could change the course of many lives. We should feel pity on those that cannot freely think clearly for themselves. Those that drive through stop lights, those that are not adult enough to drive properly, those that do not carry insurance cards, those that just should stay home with their dear elderly parents (praise be) and walk to the store to buy them daily foodstuffs. Let us hope that person, now without a license, will not need to walk across a busy street - as there are others, similar others, that are as dangerous and need our compassion and pity. Careful when you cross the street, good man. Praise be your dear elderly parents.

To Anon: 1:55 PM

HAAAAAAAAA HA HA HA HA!! I LOVE IT!

Wish I'd thought of it first :)

WHAT WOULD WE ALL DO WITHOUT CHAPTZEM?..... AND WHAT WOULD CHAPTZEM DO WITHOUT A YINGERMAN?

What a chilul Hashem!!!!

I checked the New York Times, and was unable to find it on their front page (or any other). Perhaps I missed it? If someone is able to post this article, as it was such big news that it allegedly made the NYT front page, would they ploease post it so that I can read for myself how this yingerman did something stupid and illegal and SHOULD have gotten stopped and punished?

I know of a Yinger-Maydel who also lost her license during the probationary prriod. Big woopy Doo.

a guy slows down by a stop sign and goesthrough

cop pulls him over: you did not come to a full stop

guy: full stop slow down same thing
cop: get out out of the car
guy gets out cop takes out his batton and starts hiting him and says NOW DO YOU WANT TO SLOW DOWN OR STOP!!!!! :) LOL
