How about men and women sides of the street as they have in New Square? How about vaad hatznius regulating newspapers sold, or investigating on who owns a TV? To the original poster; I heard of Rabbi Schorr, but who in the world is Rabbi Scheineran? where does he belong? and what does he have with Haazinu?

The whole concept of concerts, singing p'sukim from Torah & mamorei Chazal is a big no-no. Look in Gemara RoshHashana re; ShirHashirim being sung, and RAMBA"M on Mishnayos Avos re; pesukim sung @ chasunas.

 

it seems clear that das torah is against concerts for good reasons and will go to the extreme of canceling a concert in late stages. I do not belive that the das torah involved with Haazinu know about this concert.Ther is just no way das torah is informed about this organization they sighned on.

 

They canceled THE BIG EVENT so the HAAZINU concert can be sold out its all about the $$$$$$$$$

 

Which das torah allowed the concert, the same names that sighn on haazinu also sighned that NO CONCERTS ARE ALLOWED ?

 

Is this the Rabbi Schorr from East 15th Street? I heard that he said the Big Event was assur because live music concerts are assur. So why is this concert any different?

 

The gedlim are letting this concert take place in manhatten where the is so much tumah ?????

 

The reason the Gedolim banned the Lipa concert because its a Moshav Leitzim. The Haazinu concert is not. How do I know? Simple all you people on the chaptzem blog wanted to go to the Big Event. Very few of you are going o the Haaziu event.
