BEWARE - Deceptive marketing practices by Elite Chocolate
Beware of the new 'AIRY' chocolate being produced by Elite. The chocolate is Pareve and is not made with milk as it may seem to a consumer that does not concentrate on the label and may mistake 'AIRY' for 'DAIRY'. Also, the new 'airy' chocolate is whipped so that it is full of air bubbles and weighs about half as much as a regular bar of chocolate.

They have a Dairy version of this bar as well. The bars are not that expensive that you should be making an issue. They are cheaper than the other brands.

What happened Chaptzem? You told someone you couldn't eat that because it was milechik and they laughed at you? Why would a kosher company want anyone to think that their chocolate is dairy if it isn't?

I feel stupid saying this. Didn't you maybe think that "chocolate is whipped so that it is full of air bubbles" means AIRY!!

The whole "airy" wouldnt confuse me. I think the cow on the wrapper might confuse people.

The problem is usually the other way around, where something appears pareve but has milchig material in it.
I thought you were going to borrow this label for a spoof by adding the phrase "hot" before "airy" and putting someone's picture on it :)

This is actually not a new concept.
In England you have chocolate bars, called Aero bars. I don't know if they're kosher at all.
Long ago a friend introduced them to me saying how the company who made them knew people enjoyed filling in their chocolate so what's the cheapest filling available? Air!
Those bars were milchig IIRC. (Cholev stam I imagine if they were at all kosher)

Deceptive? Really now, Chaptzem, if anything this is MAYBE a trademark case but why in the world would Elite, a manufacturer or kosher products want people to think something is milchig which is likely to cut down on sales?
