Hasidim and Seagulls
Comments:
If you look closely, a few chasidim are swinging a couple of gulls over their heads. They're doing kapores early.
Looks like the rebeim from yeshiva took the kinderlech for an outing. KOL HAKOVODE. You cant confine the teire kinder in a classroom all day. It is even important for the melamdim
an outing?? in the dirty sand near the filthy east river...poor kids.
Prospect park would count for an outing.

No Tashlich in Feb.
The sea gulls were surprized to see chassidic kids out on a cold day. They were hungry and the kids shared their lunch with the birds Erev Shabbows Shiro

I think it was a nice field trip for the kids. Sometimes it is nice to get away for a short, close-by trip. Not every trip needs to be to a great place. Also, seeing their rebbes as humans, feeding the birds with them, is very good.
