Flour goes up in price $1 per bag this week

Due to the rising costs of grain, flour will go up in price as much as $1 per bag this week. According to a supermarket manager the $1 price hike came from the distributor and not from the retailer.

Comments:
Oh this should give the bakeries enough reason to raise the price for a Danish another dollar (don't you know a danish takes alot of flower, lol)

so!!!!!!!! i guess homon tashen are goin up

Mega 53 has to find some way of paying for the new sign and sidewalk we watched being erected right here!

I'm the Distributor. The price went up because the manufacturers raised their prices. That's because the price of flour worldwide has been on an upwards spiral since last summer. You can Google Wheat Prices and get many articles similar to this one:

They will explain in detail that there are many reasons that flour is going up and it's not "because the Distributor raised the price"!

Actually it is because the Distributor raised the price. The distributor may or may not have a good reason for raising prices but he is still the direct cause.
