BREAKING NEWS - Man found dead in front of Avenue Plaza Hotel in Boro-Park

A man was found dead on the street in a pool of blood in front of the Avenue Plaza Hotel on 13th Avenue in Boro-Park. It is uncertain whether the man jumped from the building to his death or if he was struck by a hit and run driver.

Comments:
ii was there. the guy jumped

DID THE HIT & RUN DRIVER PUT A CHAIR ON THE PORCH WHICH JUMPED FROM ASWELL?

i guess that is one way to check out

Yes, the guy jumped from the 8th floor balcony. There were many witnesses to it.

This is terrible news-can you guys not sit and argue about this or discuss this like this is simply a piece of juicy news. This is a life lost-whatever happened, and other than the authorities and family members of this person, the details of what happened is no one elses's business. Remember, you are talking about someone's child, perhaps someone's father and/or husband. Put yourself in their shoes. They do need this person being blabbed about, the story disected and discussed on some website. May none of you ever know of such sorrow.

yes he was jewish. chesed shel emes is taking care of the body.

Why should anyone care if this
person was Jewish or not. He
must of been troubled to jump
to his death.

cuz if he was jewish he needs a jewish kvura. btw if you realise that none of the other jewish news blogs didnt report this story. you know why? because misaskim didnt take care of matters. and unlike chaptzem they are biased and paid by misaskim to post only stories in thier favor and nnt write anything about something they couldnt get thier hands on. and when i tried commenting something about this story my comment was deleted.

by the way chesed shel emes had NOTHING to do with the case.. Misaskim WAS on the scene and in the hospital to arrange a tahara and kevura. chesed shel emes's claims that they are handeling teh case is entirely UNTRUE! AND NO MISASKIM IS NOT GOING AROUND TOOTING THEIR OWN HORN AND SEEKING PUBLICITY.

this is the chaptzem i used to know. welcome back chappie.

nebach..so sad that this man felt this was his only way out of his tzar. who was he?

MAYBE HE COULD NOT GET TO THE BANGOLOW COLONY OF HIS CHOICE FOR THE SUMMER AND COULD NOT TAKE THE SHAME.

anon 11:52 you make me laugh. it seems you have no problem to say straight out lies (anonymously). so maybe MISASKIM also took care of the koson case, as they claimed today on kol mevaser? AND WHO IS BLOWING WHOS HORN HERE?

TO ANON 2:31 i DONT KNOW ABOUT THE KOSON CASE. I AM NOT INVOLVED WITH EITHER MISASKIM OR CHESED SHEL EMES, BUT I WAS AT THE HOSPITAL LAST NIGHT WHEN RABBI YANKI MEYER CAME TO PICK UP THE BODY. SO I CAN ONLY ATTEST TO THE FACTS THAT I WITNESSED,,, HOW ABOUT YOU?

11;29 you are right about other blogs being biased!! i cant
understand why they delete my comments what have i done to them that they wont take any of my comments??? i dont post nasty comment
maybe chaptzem can do a vote to see how many peoples comments get deleted??

To all those who are getting their comments deleted- Create your own blogs and then your the bosses and you can write whatever you want.

im gonna call to see if his room is a reduced rate as of now

BAD BAD MOVE.
I AM SURE HE JUST FELL OFF. MAY THIS BE A LESSON TO ALL: IF YOU KNOW SOMEBODY THAT IS VERY SAD AND DEPRESSED DONT "LOOK" FOR HELP, JUST HELP HIM/HER. SHMOOZE, TALK, AND MOST IMPORTANT LISTEN, HELP REBUILD A LOST SELF CONFIDENCE AND HELP SAVE A WHOLE WORLD (A NEFESH B'YISROEL).
AND WE SHOULD ALL SAY THANK YOU FOR MISASKIM AND FOR CHESED SHEL EMES FOR HELPING OUT FELLOW YIDDEN IN PAINFULL MOMENTS. (TO US PEOPLE YOU ARE ALL THE SAME = GREAT) KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND MAY HASHEM HELP US ALL AMEIN.
YOURS: THE GOLEM

Could somebody please tell us the complete story? Age? Family status? Any details?

I saw the fellow at shomer shabbos;he probably got food poisoning from the matamim left downstairs (spoilt chollent, cold pizza, mouldy bread -which was treated by the pigeons etc....)

Friday afternoon he went into the hotel to make a reservation but the hotel staff would not accomodate him, seeing that he looked troubled. At the end he called the police and they forced the hotel staff to accomodate him and rent him a room.

TO ALL THOSE WHO FEEL THE NEED TO MAKE A JOKE OF THIS POOR GUY'S MISERY, PLEASE THINK FOR A SECOND AND REALIZE THAT A FELLOW JEW, OR FOR THAT MATTER A FELLOW HUMAN BEING HAS JUST ENDED A VERY SAD STRCH OF EVENTS. AND YOU MIGHT AS WELL THINK ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO MAY BE AFFECTED BY THIS TRAGITY. SO SHOW SOME COMPASSION TO A FELLOW HUMAN BEING.......THINK ABOUT IT!!

how did he get from 13 Ave to Yeshiva of Flatbush

how did he get from 13 Ave to Yeshiva of Flatbush?
===================================
u are mixing up 2 different stories 2 differnt people.

Can Chaptzem or anyone else comment as to why other blogs avoided this news?? Is there something to this that should not be publicized? As for those who are joking about this tragedy, you should'nt know from this...
most likely the man was mentally ill, as is almost always the case in such situations...

These comments are really pathetic. Instead of wondering what brought a Jew to his wit's end so that he was forced to commit suicide, we have pathetic individuals arguing over who gets credit for taking care of his body. Tell me...who took care of this yid's neshama? Why don't we ask that question? Why didn't someone care for him while he was still alive?

I once had a friend who commited suicide by hanging and let me tell it is not a pretty picture.

Let's worry about these people when they're still among the living.

I WAS THERE - kids snickering

I got there after he was already picked up by Hatzolah. What I don't undestand were young children and teenagers - even adults - talking about it with SMILES on their faces! I hope this was an attempt to suppress being embarassed, by crying publicly.

To 4:56
You're right on the mark- who took care of this yid's nashama?
I just want to mention one thing- mental health is the most misunderstood of health issues. We treat mental health patients the same way they were treated 50 years ago. Just walk into a mental hospital to see for yourselves. Another point, the cost for professional health care is exorbitant -most people CANNOT afford the costs involved in proper mental care. We have wonderful organizations in our community, I am not aware of any that help sponsor the heavy costs of mental health care.

tO ANON 7:08.
Unfortunately you're absolutely right. Mental health care typicaly requires long term therapy. The insurance companies run the other way when they face such expenses. This leaves the individual suffering with very few options. Add to that the stigma of people gossiping about your ailment. Would anyone view a bone fracture as gossip worthy? Perhaps one day we will be more open-minded and sympathetic to the horrific anguish mental health patints are suffering.

actualy there is an organization that helps people with mental issues called AZER LANEFESH

Dear Anon,
It is evident that you are a Chesed Shel Emes volunteer seeking to play politics with other organizations as Misaskim. I can only witness that when I needed help Misaskim was there for of all the way (with not enough words to thank them), and it was actually Chesed Shel Emes who took the credit without doing anything but spreading false rumors. When I did mention this story with it's comments to a close friend which is actually an Hatzolah member he laughed saying "He knows for a fact that Misaskim was involved in the Koson story, and as a matter of fact a Misaskim member which is also an Hatzolah member pronounced him dead on scene".
Thanks to Rabbi Meyer and his Misaskim volunteers for always being there when needed.
