Resiman's Bakery to help with Pesach expenses

We have been informed by Reisman's Bakery that they will be doing their part to help people out with their Pesach food expenses in the tough financial times of this year. Reisman's says that they will be selling their Kosher for Pesach products to retailers this year for 15% less than last year's prices. Reisman's adds, "We hope that this will help alleviate the stress of Pesach for many families."

Comments:
The raw ingredients in pastries have come down significantly over the last year. Also there is new increased competition in the field.

This is nothing more than a marketing ploy be Reisman, and very little to do with their good heart.

This is about business and not about helping people. To help people, would be to donate truckloads of products to Tomchei Shabbos.

Won't do any good. The retailers won't lower the retail price; they'll just make a larger profit.

you dont have to eat cake sowhat kind of helpis it

Anyone remembers what the stores charged last year for the cakes?

Please post the price and the store, so we could see if the prices are down this year.

kol hakovod to reismans - i tasted reisman's last year - it was magnificent and cheaper to begin with than most pesach items but the stores ran out of their stock 2 weeks before pesach...

send more products to the stores...i'll definitely buy more...

Reply to comment num1: why do you have to be so cynical. True the prices went down but the prices on other baked goods stayed the same high price. The price of busses and train is still at the highest price since gas was more than double what its at now. No one has anything to say about that! Kol hakavod the entire Riesman/Fixler family

Kol hakavod: I know the Reisman family for over 35 years. They were always at the fore front of helping yidden in need. Tizku limitzvas.

For the first person who commented I would like to say something.

Reismans Bakery donates every week to Tomchei Shabbos in three seperate areas of New York. Reismans also donates product to another place that helps feed aniyim in our area. So before you have some Lashon Hara to say please get your facts straight.

As far as raw ingredient prices go, it is true that some prices have gone down, but as a whole it is practically the same as last year. As a matter of fact 2 of the other bakeries have raised their prices this year.

We wish everyone a Gut Yom Tov.

All those that don't understand look it up EDUCATION is FUNdamental.

For the ones that eat cake -enjoy the price cut.
For those that dont eat cake- see if another company will go down 15% on groceries!!
