It is not a Jewish concert. It will be well attended, but not by the frum -- who don't attend his concerts anyway.

As just a plain Jew (unlike the gedolim who usually comment here), I make the following observations.
Whenever Chaptzem posts a story about someone being accused of something like tax evasion or child molestation, which in addition to being illegal are also chilul Hashem, there is always an outcry of "innocent until proven guilty" or "give him the benefit of the doubt."
There are two acts listed. It appears that different performers are opening for Matisyahu. Concerts, particularly outdoor concerts, often run late.
Is it not at least possible that Matisyahu is performing after the zman when the taanis ends?

It is the 3 weeks and music is banned it is assur to listen during this time. Stand up and respect yourselves. For those of you who are yeshivish you all know better, Chaptzem shouldn't even have posted this one. Unless of course if they would have said it isn't proper or appropiate to go. Had he wanted he could have done one day earlier I am almost sure that they would have given it to him. Or perhaps he didn't think and then it was to late to back out. Where is the out cry HAshem Yerachem what this generation has come to. For all those who aren't aware the 3 weeks are much tougher then Sefirah. Please people lets remember our place and why we are still in galus. Thank you CHAPTZEM FOR POSTING THIS> I usually like your pieces this one really upset me.
