Brooklyn Man Killed by NYPD Patrol Car
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police say a marked NYPD patrol car struck and killed a 63-year-old man crossing a Brooklyn street early Sunday morning.
Police say the man was struck about 12:03 a.m. on Coney Island Avenue between Cortelyou Road and Avenue C in the Kensington section.
He was pronounced dead after being taken to Lutheran Hospital.
Police say it appears to be a tragic accident.
